Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to support business growth

Your Experience & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within Professional Services 

  • Proven ability to execute strategic marketing plans 

  • Exceptional content creation skills with experience producing high-quality digital content 

  • Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, Canva, and other publishing software 

  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with adaptable copywriting expertise

Job Description

The role falls within our Capital Strategy team which is focused on delivering strategic advice regarding debt and equity structuring, commercial due diligence and advising on separation, integration and joint venture planning and support.

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for supporting the provision of strategic, commercial, sustainability and business advisory services to clients of Rennie both in Australia and globally. As a part of the role, you will be undertaking high quality research and analysis, and presentation of findings to support client engagements and business development. You will be responsible for effective communications, attendance at client meetings and supporting the preparation of high-quality client deliverables and presentations.  

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years’ previous experience, ideally in a senior consulting role, or relevant industry or government role. 

  • Experience applying strategic frameworks, experience, and insights to enable the provision of high-quality analysis and advice across existing and emerging markets impacted by the shift to a net-zero, sustainable economy.  

  • Senior level experience with commercial advisory on investment opportunities, capital allocation and project advancement. 

  • Experience with pre-deal commercial and strategic support for M&A, joint ventures and transactions. 

  • Post-deal experience across integrations, separations and synergy assessments. 

  • Experience with capital and project structuring for debt and equity. 

  • Business case development and financial project viability assessments. 

  • Market outreach for funding and commercial partners.  

  • Experience building client relationships and liaising confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels.  

  • Experience providing clear guidance, direction, and feedback to team members.  

  • Experience providing high-quality written and verbal presentations and deliverables.  

  • You are self-motivated, highly pro-active, and have a resilient attitude.

You will be actively participating and contributing to client meetings, as well as supporting business development and related activities, in relation to existing and prospective clients of Rennie Advisory.  

You will actively maintain good relationships with the broader team and contribute to guiding and mentoring junior staff and other duties commensurate with your role classification and capabilities as requested by the leadership of Rennie Advisory.
