Santosh Mathew joins Rennie Partners

2 August 2021 – Strategy, Regulation and Commercial firm Rennie Partners has appointed Santosh Mathew as Senior Manager.

Simone and Matt Rennie today welcomed Santosh as Rennie Partner’s latest senior appointment in the new strategic, regulatory and commercial firm.  “Our initial strategy was to scale highly qualified and deeply experienced resources to meet immediate demand and to ensure consistency in branding, approach and quality.  Santosh’s appointment is in line with our 100 day strategy, and is the beginning of a systemic approach to our optimal size and resource mix” Matt Rennie said.

Santosh has more than ten years of consulting and strategic commercial experience across the Aerospace, Defence and Ports sectors.  Most recently with international consulting firm Ernst and Young (EY), Santosh has worked in corporate roles with Boeing, HT&E and North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) which owns key trading Queensland ports for Coal, Bauxite, Petroleum and Agricultural commodities. Santosh has also led projects which have required him to hold an Australian security clearance negative vetting level 1.

Simone Rennie said.  “An increasing level of activity in our firm relates to commercial due diligence and market entry analysis, for funds and private equity firms looking to enter markets which are impacted by the carbon transition, and for commercial organisations conducting transformational change.  Santosh’s experience provides not only the rigour and precision garnered through consulting in an international advisory firm, but the depth of sector experience provided by a history of working in defence, heavy-industry and Government”.

Santosh added “I am passionate about partnering with various stakeholders and leading teams to achieve outcomes in a values driven environment, which was a driving factor in joining Rennie Partners. I am looking forward to bringing my experience in strategy development, corporate finance to helping clients solve complex problems to the team”.
