Rennie Partners welcomes Yatra Forudi and Erin Hannan-Jones

Sustainability and net zero focused consultancy Rennie Partners has shifted gears again, adding Yatra Forudi and Erin Hannan-Jones to its team.

Following its announcement a few weeks ago that Gary Eisner, Jonathan Skippen and Freya Tanzer were joining the firm, Rennie Partners has unveiled two new additions in its Brisbane office, taking its team to 20 across Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.

Yatra Forudi joins the homegrown consultancy as a Director, marking the first such senior appointment at the firm. Previously the head of strategy and planning at Queensland energy company CS Energy, Forudi’s experience includes having led strategy development, market outlook and business planning functions for the vertically integrated generator and retailer, and supporting the Board and Executive to navigate the energy transition.
A Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in strategy and corporate finance across utilities, resources, infrastructure, financial services and agriculture, Forudi previously worked as both a professional services consultant (at BDO across two spells specialising in transaction advisory services) and an in-house specialist at Senex Energy and Vale Australia.

Erin Hannan-Jones has joined Rennie Partners as a Manager from her previous role as a Manager at PwC, where she worked with clients across a variety of industries to develop and implement impact-led solutions to complex social and environmental issues. With four years of management consulting experience, she has worked with clients across the business transformation lifecycle from strategy development through to transformation planning, change management, and post-implementation review/evaluation. Hannan-Jones, who takes a collaborative and design-thinking led approach to solve complex challenges, holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Economics) from Queensland University of Technology as well as Professional Scrum Master I certification.

Established by former EY leaders Matt Rennie and Simone Rennie, Rennie Partners provides strategic advice, commercial due diligence, regulatory design and implementation advice.

“With these appointments, we move to 20 FTEs across Australia and into the new phase of our strategy, which involves a shift to scale over the next 24 months” Simone Rennie said. “Growing out our Perth office and demonstrating our commitment to Western Australian clients and the market now moves firmly onto the agenda for Q1 2022.”
